Marian Hassan

Co-Founder · BABCP-Accredited CBT Therapist · Lecturer & Supervisor

Marian Hassan is an accomplished and dedicated Cognitive Behavioural Therapist with over a decade of professional practice helping individuals overcome a wide spectrum of emotional and psychological challenges - from anxiety and depression to low self-esteem, stress and perfectionism. Her warm, collaborative and non-judgemental approach is grounded in robust, evidence-based CBT and is carefully tailored to each individual’s unique story, strengths and goals.

Marian believes therapy should be a space of clarity, empowerment and meaningful change. She works closely with her clients to identify patterns of thoughts and behaviours that keep them stuck, then partners with them to build confidence, direction and sustainable wellbeing. Her experience spans both brief, structured interventions and more complex therapeutic journeys, always with a focus on ethically-informed, recovery-oriented care. On top of her clinical practice, Marian holds a master’s degree and completed original research on paternal mental health - a rare and valuable specialism which informs her awareness of how gender, parenthood and identity impact psychological wellbeing.

As a Visiting Lecturer on counselling and psychotherapy programmes, Marian contributes to the next generation of therapists, integrating her academic expertise with hands-on clinical insight.
